The family-owned joinery workshop, which was established in 1953, produces, among others, a number of iconic designs by Hans J. Wegner — the modern master of Danish furniture design. The outstanding quality of its pieces is due to the brand’s respect for its raw material, wood, which is dried for years to the point of semi-petrification, and the skill of its craftsmen. Pieces such as the Round Chair and Valet Chair, for instance, are still made and finished almost entirely by hand.
